If you are an artist or a craftsman and are based in Nagaland, Assam or Meghalaya, please do write in to us as naomijacob@coopita.com, or send us your information through a message on + 91 8794 737323, or write a comment on the FB comments below… and do this quickly! Coopita is only here from June 20 – June 28, 2016.

Just three days after the launch of Coopita, a Singapore based global marketplace for craftsmen and artisans based in Asia, India Trail brings one of the founders to Nagaland, Assam and Meghalaya to study what can be sourced from local artists and craftsmen.

We hope to connect Naomi, the co-founder of Coopita, with as many talented individuals from the region on her short trip here – which we hope will be one of many to come.

This is a good way for professional and semi-professionals to display their products on a global platform. You never know, your next order might come from Europe or the United States!

About Coopita:
Coopita is a global marketplace created for craftsmen and artisans based in Asia. We recognize an unfulfilled global demand for creative and unique products created by makers from Asia.

We believe handmade quality products that often represent traditions and culture from remote parts of Asia deserves a dedicated platform in an e-commerce market flooded with mass-manufactured merchandise.
